Husband emotionally checked our of our marriage when I became the bread winner (through a series of events we didn't control). At the same time, I was traveling with someone who was mentally and physically engaging. He made me feel smart and wanted - and he appreciated my strength instead of resenting it. Admittedly, it was the easier path than having the hard conversation I needed to have with my husband. It filled a gap that I wasn't getting at home.
I was in love with 2 guys and secretly hoping guy A would come to his senses and just ask me to be his forever. So naive.
