I'm from Europe, came to the US for work. You are a senior employee, I'd say go for it. Europe is completely different, free healthcare, great places to see and travel, easy and cheap access to it. Having 12 YOE will get you a great job, don't expect pay to be as high as the US (especially Spain, but life is way cheaper), but being single with no kids you'll be fine, living well. You won't want to come back!
I think you should take the plunge! You sound like you're in a fairly stable place, and should definitely be able to make a living with your experience. Seriously considering leaving the US myself, so I hope it works out well for you.
Firstly, I think you should have your Resume edited as per the EU standard and get it translated in Spanish too. Try www.prsnbranding.com. They do a great job with resumes.
