for pharma project managers: is there more money to be made in the central lab side of a company or the bioanalytical side? looking to apply at labconnect if any employees are floating around and could speak to the company specifically, but open to other input. i only have experience in central lab but have a science background. TIA!

Here's a bump so someone better qualified sees this. But my gut reaction is to say central is the better bet.

Did you find out any info on LabConnect? I am also looking at their PM positions, but I am not sure if they are worth my time. Reviews on Glassdoor about the company are not the best…

I now run the office and an in charge of payroll, project management, tracking expenses, paying material companies, paying subs, excel spreadsheet management, and pretty much anything and everything to keep a companies office up and running. We are a fairly small construction company grossing 7 figures per year. I am currently being paid $17 per hour. Does this sound appropriate?

I love my job and the people I work with, but there’s one thing that really bothers me: the lack of diversity. Sometimes when I walk into the office and see everyone else around me as the only POC, it feels kind of weird. I don’t think anyone here has ever said anything racist or sexist to me personally, but I don’t feel comfortable talking about these issues with anyone because they might take it personally and then things could get awkward between us.

Hi all. I’m making a career shift from graphic design to project management. I received a full-time offer: head of PM, reporting to one co-owner, on equal footing with my summer supervisor; $40k base. Looking at local industry standards, average sits around $75k base. Can I reasonably negotiate and ask for $60k base?
