Thursday I had received email from JP Morgan HR regarding my availability for the interview. I had responded back to the mail stating I am available for interview on Monday from 10 am till end of the week any time. After that I haven't heard back from the HR on further process. I am worried as they might not interview me. Need thoughts of group people for the scenario.

Hi Everyone,
I just got a decent offer for a stable unionized role, but I am still in the running for another role that I am more attracted to. Do I tell this other role that I have an offer or would that hurt my chances? I don’t want to burn bridges at either workplace, but I know there is probably at least another week or so until I find out if I get this other role.
For context, the first is a city job with good pay and great work/life balance and the second is competitive F500 company.

Not trying to read too much into signs because I don’t want to get hopes up to be let down, but what does it mean that a recruiter follows up an email within 1hr not by email, but phone call with an update that I’m one of the two final candidates. I’m getting interview burnout during my job search and this being the first time a recruiter followed up by phone instead of email and quickly at that. When will I see the light at the end of the tunnel?

How would you answer the question 'why do you want to leave your current company/role?'?

I applied for a job based on the job description and now have an interview with the Recruiter in the next couple of days. In preparation for the interview I did some research and have serious concerns about the company. E.g., most of the most recent Glassdoor reviews describe the company as a "sinking ship" with poor benefits and poor leadership.

How would you approach this situation? Would you mention the bad reviews to the recruiter? Cancel? Continue and see what happens?

I was offered a position through a recruiter and the company is now doing a background check. I haven’t received a written offer letter or started any paperwork.

After receiving the offer I turned down a final interview with another company. I’ve also been invited to another interview with someone else.

I don’t feel comfortable continuously turning down interviews if I don’t have a written offer or started any paperwork. I want to email HR about the process but what should I say?

Have you ever been interviewing with a company and then several interviews in, you see another role at the same company that was just posted that might also be a good fit?

Would you apply? Ask the recruiter you’ve been talking with? Or not say anything at all because it looks desperate?

I didn’t get asked one for my current role and it’s looking like I won’t for the one I’m interviewing for now.

To be fair, all anyone ever does is pick people they know will say really good things anyway. So maybe removing them just saves everyone time.

Is it normal for companies to take a while to get back to you? I made it through to the final round, it’s been over a month and my application still says “interview stage.” I’ve contacted the recruiter several times but never heard anything back
