Filing complaints takes time and who has time for that. Why dont you just snatch a few extra toiletries and call it even...
Complain to the front desk. Giving you keys to someone else's room is a big f-up on their part
Call their corporate office and file a complain against the manager and front desk if they refuse to accommodate politely
You can explicitly ask for points when you complain, Ive done that before. Dont let them try to give you the night for "free" unless you really care about your company's expenses
