For students applying for the Consulting Industrial Placement in London offices, is it management consulting or technology consulting ?

I had joined my new company as an Application Developer. During my both job and client interviews they asked me core Java questions and I believed my project would be involving a high level of development. However I am just performing analysis on code for migration and the manager is saying that if we do our work right we will get development project to do. What is to be done? I have 3 YoE.

I am done with the multiple rounds of technical interviews in PWC AC and HR confirmed that the feedback is positive and they are working on next process.
Its been one week I haven't received any communication on that. When I called HR, she told that background check team will reach out to me over email or call in some days.

Can anyone suggest if I should hope for the offer letter in this case from PWC AC or not.
Also, what salary I should negotiate for Senior Associate.

Was given 3 days for a take home test as second round of an interview. Ended up having client work the entire weekend, okay to ask for another day as a result of this or no?

I had my technical round with TCS yesterday. It went on for 45 mins and I had answered close to 17 of the 20 questions that were asked to me. The interviewer also gave a positive kind of response stating that you will have a managerial round after this and then HR. But nothing has happened after that. I tried emailing the HR who had arranged for my interview but I did not receive a response. Any idea about the TCS hiring process or how else can I reach them to kno the results ?
