For teams facing a space crunch in the office, any solutions or advice? My team’s having space issues (being forced to spread out), and making matters worse, we’re competing for space with a team from another service line (one that claims to add value, but not really) that spends a lot of time socializing and not a lot of time actually working.

You're associate champion vs their associate champion. Two enter an empty office. One leaves and claims the space for their team.

funny

Carry a dog whistle with you in case their champion is really tough but sensitive to high pitches

It's 2024 let them work from home

Senior up for promo to manager in audit in next year. Have decided I do not want to be an auditor. Which of these paths do you think is best?

1. Stay 1 more year, exit to industry with manager title.
2. Move to advisory internally, but most likely would have to do one more year in audit and move as audit manager to advisory sr
3. Exit immediately into industry to try for accounting manager title / senior accountant or sr fin analyst
4. Exit immediately to advisory senior at another big 4 firm
