Don’t worry, everyone always second guesses, and usually it goes away after a few months. This is a standard human condition, not just for work
3 years. Should have left sooner
What role did you move into and where?
1.5 years. Left because audit sucks. I found a better gig doing consulting elsewhere…. I think the key is not to leave just to leave. Think about the long term career and what you want to achieve 5-10 years down the future. And try to align those career goals with your a drawn out path
Ah I left audit after 1.5 years and I’m currently two months in the new consulting gig. I really evaluated the position before proceeding with it. While I’m only two months in I’m glad I took it. Parts of me sometimes thinks I regret just because “the grass is always greener” but that always quickly passes by. It would probably take me a full year to really evaluate whether I like this or not before deciding to do something else again
1 year. Made the decision 2 months in. Never second guessed my self just wanted to wait a year but honestly should have stated applying sooner.
