For the EY folks that were on the breakout call of the super day, do we think forensics is actually gonna do anything to retain us? I feel like they pissed more people off by being very selective with these ovations.

I’m someone annoyed by the ovations but also recognize that they are trying to do things to retain people but everyone has different solutions and thoughts on what is needed to do that. I know Tony cares about people input and ideas and really does take the people pulse surveys and general feedback seriously but you also have to be understanding that things take time. There is no 1 simple fix for everyone.

For example - office events being back make some people very happy and then also annoy another group of people

Seeking advice. Came into consulting late, after 8 YOE in federal gov. Hired on as a consultant despite exp, and spent last ~4 years in investigations/risk, first at fairly well-known mid-tier firm then a boutique. Twice promoted in that time, so now senior associate/director-level making ~150k TC. Others at my level are abt the same age, so I am almost ‘caught up’.
