Tech Mahindra Hey guys, I attempted Hackathon by tech Mahindra (for jr java developer 1-3 yr exp). After 3 days I received a call from hr confirming that I have been shortlisted and took hr round on that call. Later I received a document verification mail asking for all essential docs which are required for joining, but didn't received any offer letter yet. When I cross checked mail address with my friend in tech Mahindra, he confirmed that such hr exists with same e-mail id. Is it normal in tech Mahindra?

👋🏼 been on medication since I was 15, so coming up on ten years. Started with Zoloft (helped my depression, worsened my anxiety), then Lexapro (no libido), and finally Pristiq (just right!). I have never noticed lasting side effects, and by having ongoing conversations with my service providers, we were able to find the brand that worked best for me over the years. Having said that, I wouldn’t change a minute of annoying side effects for having been unmedicated instead. Genuinely changed my life.
if you want to DM, happy to discuss in more detail— I know it can be scary!
Celexa for more than 5 years. No side effects unless you stop suddenly. Calm, steady state, emotionally in control. It's great!
Been on Prozac for my anxiety the past 2 years. No side effects at all. On the contrary, I feel like my old self again
Celexa for maybe 4 years? Low sex drive
This is so helpful to see. I just saw a psychiatrist for the first time a few weeks ago after years of avoiding medication. I got a 30 day supply of Remeron (Mirtazapine) as a start to regulate sleep first, and a 30 day supply of Effexor (Venlafaxine) to take after my sleep has been regulated. I still haven't touched them yet, but it's a first step.
Yeah, I read about the side effects and am afraid of the side effects which is why I haven't started yet...
I’ve been on Lexapro for three years to help with anxiety. Getting on it was not a lot of fun, I had some wacky side effects for the first two weeks as my body adjusted to the med. I’ve reduced my dose by about 50% from when I started, as a lot of my stress has gone away, but am really happy to be on this med. I am out of pocket for the first $5k of all medical stuff, this drug is literally a couple dollars a month.
Thx for that feedback

No lasting negative. Been on lexapro for 6 years
I was on lexapro for 4 years for depression and anxiety paired with bupropion, overall no long term negative side effects. Only thing is the lexapro lost efficacy over time as my body got used to it and life got more stressful, so I recently switched to duloxetine (cymbalta).
Klonopin for 3 years. Highly addictive. I feel withdrawals without it after two weeks. When I'm on it , I'm relaxed and sharp as a tack.
However, I heard of long term memory loss if youre on it for too long.
Bad nights sweats with Prozac. Been on it two years. It doesn’t really help, so I’m looking to switch
I was on anti- depressants and anti anxiety meds for over a decade. Started with one and then kept adding to balance side effects. Long story long - I eventually had to go into the hospital to detox from all of them and the doctor on staff suggested that my preceding doctor be sued for malpractice. I did not.
I am not anti medication and I’m not saying what is right for you. Today, I don’t use anything but an occasional Benadryl to help with sleep when I travel and over caffeinate. I’ve never felt better, more alert and more balanced than I do today. I’ve also learned to manage the negative thoughts that led to anxiety and panic attacks.
This is just my story. And before the haters chime in - I’m not advocating for against anything but simply sharing my experience and perhaps a little hope.
I was on escitalopram for about 5 years. I had brain zaps as I was weaning off it (I also started to get brain zaps about 2 years in to taking it if I took it more than a few hours late).
Been on Prozac for 3 years. There were some symptoms for the first 3 months (mostly fatigue) and then I felt normal. I’ve been doing so much better since I started the medication. I would highly recommend medication if you feel like you need it and/or if alternatives (therapy, meditation, etc.) aren’t working.
thx. How did you guys find out prozac was the best for you? Did you need to try different medicines and you eventually landed on prozac?
Okay makes sense, thanks fish fam
Have been on 3 mg of Xanax every day for 14 years now. Normally take 1.5 to 2 instead of the full 3, but sometimes it's definitely needed. No increase in dose, no negative impacts that I've seen. I've tried just about everything else out there with disastrous results, suicidal thoughts, weird overall feelings etc. Which leads me to believe it's not anxiety but panic disorder that I suffer from, given the medication that does the job it makes the most sense.
Got it. ty
None. The periodic headache, but nothing more than that. I’m on a very low dose of lexapro.
Hey there!
I’ve been on Zoloft for 7 years for depression and anxiety. Over the past few months I’ve worked with my doctor and slowly reduced the dosage - I’m currently on week 2 of no meds!
While I had lots of side effects in the beginning, the only one last longer than a year was reduced libido. Perhaps also a bit of brain-fogginess sometimes. But now that I’m off it, all of those disappeared too, and I feel great!
Not saying I’m done with antidepressants for good (I’ve got serious seasonal affective disorder) but the side effects were very manageable while I was on them, and went I away as I’m quitting them.
I’d say try them out. They make a big difference and I wouldn’t be where I am without them
Ty
Thanks 🐠
