I'm an engineer, making $85k/year. Wife doesn't work, have two kids. If she works, we pay for daycare which will cost more than what she could make. I work crazy hours, she more than has her hands full with the kids. We got lucky and found an apartment for $1800/month. If rent goes up, we're screwed. Can barely afford groceries and gas. We may relocate to another state, with me staying at the same company. How can we get more income in light of how busy we already are?

Currently have a hospice patient on physical therapy caseload for device recommendations to give her a better QOL in her final days. I go in to assess her and find she has a sacral ulcer. Nurse and I (the PT) agree that the patient would benefit from a ROHO cushion for her W/C. Hospice comes back and says they don’t cover cushions! This is beyond messed up. Bigger picture, this $170 cushion is probably cheaper than most items they’ve spent money on covering for her.
