I’m fairly new to practice, however I’m in my third private firm, and all of my bosses have been men. My first two would make blatant statements about how they couldn’t invest in someone who would want to be having babies soon or that I didn’t need to worry about making much $ because I live with my bf and I have a provider, etc.. My parents planned a trip to the US and never told me. My sister helped then plan. In the US, my father fell sick and had to be hospitalized. They did have travel insurance but there were still a lot of out of pocket expenses and other expenses related to rescheduling tickets, etc.

Why is it so hard to join a group ?
