Brought my gf sushi take out to her house when she got off of work. She didn't like the meal I got her and started to eat the roll i got for myself. She noticed I wasn't eating so I told her I ate before rather than tell her she was actually eating my dinner. She's now mad at me that I "lied" even though I did it so she wouldn't be embarrassed. Who's in the wrong

Relationship is going pretty well apart from my partner being pretty unhealthy… I like to eat clean in general but she doesn’t like veggies and I’m a little fearful for our future family if she’s just encouraging them to “eat what you feel like” is there anyway to help change this behaviour? Any suggestions? It’s not like I never go eat fast food or what not, just that our frequency of consuming desserts has increased exponentially after we started dating and she doesn’t exercise either

Currently reading the book “Work pause thrive” to understand how I can put my career on pause and successfully pick it back up once my kids are older. Right now I have 2 under 2 and trying for a 3rd. Looking for feedback from anyone who has tried this successfully.

Anyone else really feeling the social isolation this weekend? It’s been almost a month since I saw another person (re-entering more stringent lockdowns where I am) and not being able to see family for the holidays is hitting hard. The break from work was much needed, but made me realize work is the most consistent contact I have with people (phone calls/chat messages during the day) and without it I somehow feel more alone. Fck this year!!!

Any tips for organizing a bedroom, closet, dresser & bathroom? My teen has IADHD, and low executive functioning. Her room looks like a land mine. Clean clothes are mixed in with dirty, her desk is a disaster, she won’t let go of clothes she’s outgrown, drawers are open with clothes hanging out. A therapist said to close her door if we don’t want to see it but it’s more than that. She needs this important life skill & I don’t know how to help. Easier to organize w/o her but that’s not a solution.

Has anyone else’s husband just never really given them complements? My husband refuses to because he says it would make it meaningless when he says them (so he doesn’t say I look nice in case on the ~5 times he says it a year it would be ‘watered down’). hi fishes, I have joined Iti as a lateral.
After joining they have asked me to collect laptop from office. When i went, the laptop was not in a great condition and was refurbished. I am guessing it was used almost 3 to 4 years before me.

I asked them for a new laptop and they said they dont have new laptop in stock, i even checked with my manager she said she is also using refurbished laptop so no problem.
