What do you do when you work for a company that has been acquired and everything changes? Everything is remote so there is no in person meetings, we are so busy they have taken all team meetings away and have mandatory overtime. We have lost so many people and I feel that the ones that have stayed are not being appreciated AT ALL! They are not providing ANY type of incentive for the ones who do show up and EVERYONE is getting burnt out. I am looking for another job outside of company.Empower Retirement

Don’t present an idea to the client. Film it. Edit it. Make it. Don’t stop there. Mediaplan it. Air it. Enter it. Believe so hard in your idea that the client discovers it like a consumer.

I kinda struggle with the question because I think you get to the “mostly finished work” by having a few reviews prior.
You can’t go too deep into finishing work since you need to know if the client is gonna be receptive. Otherwise you burn hours (or days) perfecting work that might die after a 5 minute presentation.
This makes so much sense to me. Why just have tissue sessions during a pitch when you do so much work to present a finished piece to a client only to knock you back two weeks. You'd probably need to make sure the client feels respected with seeing work in progress but also let them feel the value as a client partner
Share early and share often. Collaboration will ensure stakeholder buy in and ultimately build a better working relationship and trust which in the long run will give you more space to try new things or challenge them. It'll also save you from slaving away on something that was never gonna get through in the first place, honestly I see no benefits in being precious and holding work back. But definitely timing is important - things should be well formed and clearly presented.
