I feel like anyone says being local is great has either never been local for any actual period of time, or has a family.

Love local roles. I finish up and head out for drinks with friends

Omg too real. Being local sucks!

...being local is definitely the best...

I am single, was local for 12 months, and was very content until I switched back to M-Th travel again. Ready to go back to local.

Being local with family is both a blessing and a curse.

At the biotech company I work at avg inside sales is $62,632 with a $3500 per quarter cap. Commission structure is % based on sales quota reached vs capped (not a direct % of sales). I’m underpaid at $53000 with $3500 cap per quarter.

Want to do a sanity check. I’m making $110K and single. Right now max 401K, 50/50 traditional/Roth split. If I know I’ll be in school next year and will only work 6 months next year, should I aim to maximize Roth *next year* ? And therefore, maximize traditional this year? Thoughts? Thansk!

How does one does this in practice? What types of questions should I be asking given I don’t have domain expertise in all these areas, and what does an final output/deliverable look like? It’s like 50 people.
