For the older 🐠 out there. Have any of you successfully re-dated an ex and end up getting married? Haven't talked to an ex in 2 years and really hit it off.

I think it does work.. It depends on why you guys didn't work out in the first place. If the reasons were trivial, then go for it

I’m in this exact situation. Reconnected with my ex in October and we have seen each other twice since( he’s in the east coast and I am in the west coast). It’s important to talk things through and tie up any loose ends from the past- once that is done, don’t bring it up again.

Two final rounds coming up (one FAANG, one not) over the next week and a half. Both really exciting opportunities that would come with material pay bumps. Consciously I know I should be dispassionate about this, but in truth I am so deeply fed up with this broken firm and so excited about the prospect of making a real impact somewhere else that almost my every waking minute is fixated on nailing these interviews and GTFO’ing. Wish me luck y’all.

I had to fly United because there just wasn't an American flight at the time I needed.. and it's safe to say I think I would've enjoyed the 170 hour hike more.

Even though its not ok to put client names on resumes, do you not bring client names up during the interview? How do you communicate who your clients were for certain engagements if a recruiter/interviewer seems to want more specifics on who the client was?

Since we work with multiple clients at a time in our practice, I don’t have a specific client letter to show, for my h1b stamping interview. Will this be an issue?

Do you feel it is OK when applying for a position to oversell how excited your are for the opportunity in order to be able to move to the following rounds in order to learn more about the company/culture. Or should someone try to be genuine from the start?

Feedback from my Director in a mock client interview , "If you had said that to a real client I would pin you to the mat!". Considering how hot he is I'll risk it 😏

I’m an SAE at a PR firm but would really like to transition into advertising. My last job I worked for advertising agencies to do PR around their campaigns (Adweek, Ad Age , FastCo, Campaign) and was able to speak with a lot CMOS at brands on their strategies, so I feel like it would be a really nice career pivot. My question is does anyone have advice on what level I should apply for at an agency? I have no marketing agency experience and only PR. I’m sure I should aim low but not sure how low

What are some great tech companies that would be great to work at before trying to land at google/Facebook? I’m looking for program manager non-technical roles. I made it to the final round at Google/Facebook but didn’t land a job and i think working at a less selective tech company would increase my chances of receiving an offer.
