For those here who are young and single, how would you respond and what would you think if somebody attractive of the gender you date started making small talk with you at the grocery store or liquor store? I am desperate to meet people in person but not sure how this will come across

When I started at a big advertising agency 12 years ago, every young single person was dating someone from the agency. Some of them grew into serious relationships and one of them got married. Today, people are scared to hold eye contact with someone of the opposite gender on the chance it makes uncomfortable. Agency hours and life are challenging to mental health as it is. I think it’s wrong to forbid romantic relationships at work. What does everybody else think?

Hello. I’m new here, but feeling defeated. How do you handle Senior LT that is disrespectful, biased, and continues to show favoritism. I won’t touch on the lack of diversity or group think. They rarely listen to HR recommendations. This week has been rough and it’s only Tuesday.

I do not care about my gender. I do not identify with anything and I don't care what pronouns people want to use for me. They can call me a she or he or they and it just doesn't matter to me. I don't know what to call that? Non-binary folks I've met feel pretty strongly that they are not "male" or "female." I don't feel strongly like that. Idk. Just confused I guess lol

Is referring to a group of people as “you guys” offensive? It just slips out for me.
