5th year associate in biglaw. I interviewed today for an in-house position for a developer but they do acquisition rehab rather than new construction which is more what I’m into. Advice?
I'm a senior associate at an AmLaw 100 firm being considered for an non-equity partner position at another AmLaw 100 firm which is a bit further down the pole. There is a business development expection to eventually convert to equity; the expectation at the start is to assist with existing work. Jumping essentially let's me short track the road to partner. I'm unsure about the opportunity, which is essentially me starting over. Any wisdom on this situation? Thanks!
Currently in industry and looking to come back to consulting. Looking at KPMG, PwC and Accenture as options to recruit for. Which has really good health insurance for maternity and how good was the maternity leave for you?
Has anyone ever heard of a first year transactional associate not clearing conflicts when lateraling?
As a male mid-level/senior associate, can you take the full parental leave (10-14 weeks) and come out without impact on partnership prospects? What are questions I should be asking to get at this issue before accepting a lateral offer? Quiz recent junior partners with kids? Seems a bit aggressive but may be necessary.
Put on a bit of weight during COVID and have a pretty serious interview coming up this Friday. Any suggestions on dresses? Likely a size 16 at the moment - really want to look put together but I can’t find anything!
I’ve only been with my company for a couple months but it looks like my title will change soon (title bump) and there should be some pretty cool added responsibilities. Should I bring up compensation or anything like that? I feel like I’ll be doing more work aligned to the direction I want to take my career but I also don’t want to look greedy since I haven’t been there for long. I have around 2 years of experience if that helps paint the picture. Also if yes, how do I bring it up?
My management brag about how little PTO they take - it makes me not look up to them but rather pity them & think I'm in the wrong firm. No one regrets the days they didn't work on their death bed.
Someone willing to connect in OW interview process? Just got confirmation that they’ll begin in two weeks and want to know how to best prepare TIA! Oliver Wyman

If I get a CFA but have zero experts in investing or portfolio management, will the Charter, alone, get me a job? If so, what would my expected salary be? I’m 40 yrs old with 14 yrs of public sector Defense Budget experience making $102K now for a Big 4.
I was brought to a project for my experience in python. Then I was asked to do model validation without any instructions but a few examples. Am I expected to know the modelings in natural? I’m ...
For jobs that are remote, would one get a pay reduction moving from GA to FL? Trying to see if living in FL would be wise since they have no state income tax.
