For those involved with their state societies, what have you done to motivate young staff to participate? What do you see as the role of state societies apart from cheap CPE?

Has anyone’s eyebags become atrocious since covid started? Any proven ways on how to reduce them aside from sleeping enough/blue light glasses?

30-45 min Zoom interview
Write up client submittal
Recruiting Manager reviews submission
Submit to client
Then the talent may go through several rounds of interviews with a client depending on salary range (we work with a range from $12 hourly - 200k +)

When is the firm going to give us a bed stipend. I mean, I'm sleeping at home way more often now and have to replace my mattress sooner.

Do partners realise how expensive mattresses are? I basically just sleep so I can get back to the grind to pad their bonuses. The least they could do is contribute to a mattress stipend.

What is the output of a 2Y student-conducted interview? Is it a simple Yes/No recommendation? Would a No guarantee rejection even if you have a strong profile otherwise? Thinking Tuck/Fuqua btw

Has anybody been requested to provide a letter of explanation for bad credit? Did you stay very factual? Any words or hot button topics to avoid? I shortsaled my home in 2016 due to crash in value and move out of state. After the short sale my credit is impeccable and I have $99 outstanding on $13k of avail credit (I pay off each month). I really want this job and don’t want to lose it because of bad luck in the real estate market. Help!
