I’ve been thinking of making a switch from audit to TAS. I’m currently a S1 (2 busy seasons experience), and rated as a top performer at my firm. I’m contacted by Kroll, but recruiters there told me that since I haven’t got any TAS experience, I should be applying for their Analyst role instead of Senior Associate. Honestly, I want to switch to TAS but not that desperate to leave my firm. Anyway, I just wonder if you guys have the same situation and usually how long it takes to get promoted?

Associate in the NY office of a magic circle firm. Been really struggling with mental health issues for a long time - I feel like I’m begging for guidance/supervision and not getting any, and can’t get any support junior-wise either. I just get told I’m doing a “good job” but I’m pretty sure that’s just because no one is looking. Is the expectation just to magically figure out how to get things done solo, even if it’s the first time to do it? Is it better at NY-HQ firms that have more resources?

Am I being underpaid? I earn £52.5k + £52.5k. Corporate AE (companies with 1000-5000 employees), 2 YOE as an AE, although I was an SDR for 2 years too (in my first year at current company). ACV roughly 50k. Quite complex sales cycles with a product that is hard to sell. 350k EUR quota. Posting here because I truly don't know what to do. Hired a moving company to move out of NYC. They turned out to be just the 'brokers' not the company who would actually do the moving services. Essentially both companies worked together to get as much money out of me as possible, and the pick-up experience was awful. It's now been 10 days and I still have no idea where my belongings are, and neither company will answer my calls, texts, emails, anything!! What can I do in this situation?

How do you deal with loud neighbors that you share a wall with? They live in the building directly next to mine so can’t go knock on their door. They’re usually not too bad just parties some weeknights which is super understandable. But they’ve been blasting music since 10am and I can’t focus on work.
