We now live together, but back when we didn’t, we mostly alternated weekends with the occasional weekday thrown in.
Just weekends here. He lives an hour away and works second shift (3-12). In truth, only getting to see him 2 days a week is great for us. It’s kept things really exciting and fresh. We are almost at a year, and I think the time apart each week makes every moment together so special. It’s second love for both of us after divorces, so maybe that also has something to do with it, but don’t rush into spending every minute together. Alone time is SO SO SO important to make sure you are happy with yourself so that you can be happy with a partner

3-5 days a week including weekend
Just weekends (Friday-Sunday)
Usually just stay the weekend. Sometimes for longer in quarantine
Living together now, but before it was just weekends, holidays or planned vacation. Typically 3-5 days or if holidays close to or just over 2-3 weeks.
Mine lives about 3 hours away. He’s in the military so deployed right now but when he is here he drives up most weekends and I’ll go down occasionally. I’d drive more but he lives on base so we always have to get an Airbnb. We also FaceTime almost everyday rather than texting
Pre-Covid it was 2 nights during the week after work plus would spend majority of the weekend together. When Covid hit, we started seeing each other every night and would stay the whole weekend at each other’s place because we were the only human interaction for each other (we live like 2 miles apart so a quick trip each time). Luckily it worked out well for us and are continuing the pattern even though my bf is back in the office and we’re slowly expanding our social activities on the weekends. Would feel extremely weird now after 5 months of being together every day to choose to be alone again unless we got in a big fight or something. We’re currently making plans to move in together next summer if all goes well.
Just weekends. He lives an hour away so we can’t really do anything during the week. However, I love my alone time during the week and it helps me focus on studying for the cpa.
