For those of y’all in cold snowy regions, would you buy a mid thigh length north face or the aritzia super puff? And I get cold really easily so warmth > fashion statement

Mid-thigh. Can't speak to those particular brands, but longer coats generally make a huge difference in warmth.

North Face. If you get cold easily, don’t even mess with anything else.

I have a fleece and a long quilted coat, plus a hat and plan to buy gloves this year from them. I don’t remember the style names but definitely recommend the brand.

I bought a Barbour and really love it. Maybe not as warm as you would need for a NYC but works for Colorado temperatures.

I have the artic parka from north face and I love it 🥺 it’s warm but I still feel cute in it because it has a nice shape. I’m in NYC

I love the colors in that style too!!

Butt coverage is a minimum requirement for NYC winter coat. I alternate between the floor-length North Face and knee-length in the winter depending on weather.

Another question: where can I find heavily discounted or thrifted versions of the above?

I got a mid-thigh north face parka that I’m excited about at TJ Maxx a few weeks ago!

I work for a family business. It’s profitable, high risk and very demanding. All of which is fine except in taking over the reins I feel stuck and unfulfilled. This business gave us the life we have and my family has sacrificed so much for it, but I hate coming to work everyday where I have to plaster on a smile and pretend this is my calling.

Tips for moving from Accounting to FP&A? What will help me hit the ground running? My degree is in accounting. I’m making the switch early in career as I find it is a great fit with my focus on analyzing financial data, willingness to ask questions, research with external departments and interest in process improvements. Thank you.

My firm will start tracking the billing of associates as a group. My firm’s reasoning: ensure consistent monthly billing; and will provide new financial incentives to the group for meeting certain billing milestones. Has anyone worked at a firm that tracked associates hours as a whole group?
