RA AHM any news?
Hi, This is rather strange ask but I need a help! I happened to have claimed for more amount and now my manager is asking for details of all the expenses. How bad is this situation and what is the worst case scenario and possible work around for this situation? Is cancelling the Claim requests going to help? Also I am in NP and worrying if this can impact my records! Any guidance is highly appreciated. Thanks.

Work from home goals!
I think it really depends. I have a long list of restaurants we frequent in DC who I trust more than say, anyone delivering packages to my house. I will do takeout from them, and pick up the food myself (all are practicing amazing social distancing) - no middle man with a delivery person.
Beyond that, we will cook at home for the time being.
Good on you, the restaurants I have seen w pickups near me have packed entrances and no social distancing 😣
It was discovered that the virus on the Diamond Princess was mainly spread through the food preparation and delivery.
It’s also pretty common knowledge that cruises have high rates of illness in general...
Is it safer than making your food at home? No. Is it a small enough risk that it's worth supporting small business? In my opinion, yes.
I feel like that is a really slippery slope especially given the other small businesses that have been forced to close

My building stopped letting delivery people coming in beyond the lobby, they have to leave it on the table for you to pickup.
I unpack everything and then wash my bands and then use my own utensils.
Did some research, food is not a known transmitter of covid, it’s not a food borne disease.
Not concerned about food concerned about packaging. Smart of your building!!
I mean, some one is touching the food and packaging at the grocery stores as well no? Same amount of risk to me.
I do too
Check out diningatadistance.com for local businesses in mostly major cities
Yes.
Canadian health authorities advise to stay away from ordering in if possible.

Don't get it delivered, go and get it yourself and sanitize the packaging
This is what we do. Wipe down every box/package and then purell our hands, and then wash as soon as we get home.
No, I am worried about all of the small restaurants and diners I enjoy going out of business and society as a whole being demolished after this though.
I wash and sanitize my hands after going out to pick up food and I’m staying indoors rest of time. I’ll take that risk to support small businesses.
A little bit.
I want to support local businesses but this just doesn’t seem safe compared to meticulously washing and prepping my own food and eating at home.
Not risking it in our family. What if some sick worker coughs on your breadsticks? Pass. If our dumb, careless and greedy country maybe tested its populous and isolated people who test positive (like smart countries have done), I’d be all for it, but basic logic, science and action has been on hold here for years now.
Yes home cooked or frozen meals is the only option. Takeout is major risk bro.
Not really concerned. We’ve continued to pick up food at restaurants and open packages as normal. Not a big deal
Same here
I just really thought about it today and concerned.
The virus can live on surfaces... even cardboard.
Read an article today that scared me about the virus and what it does to the body so I’m getting a bit extreme in efforts to avoid it.
No more delivery or takeout for me
Yes agree. I don’t even know if I want to amazon anything or shop online. I might just wear gloves while opening my packages (and to the grocery store) and sanitize before using
Hell I'm no longer checking my mailbox. I know there is nothing important other than junk & bills. This is a good time for everyone to get electronic statements and bills.
We have ordered from local brewery’s and getting craft beer delivered. Feels safer than food but still supporting local companies
Depending where you are, you can donate to small businesses some of the money you might have spent to help keep them paying their staff. And still make your own food.
How revolutionary. I can donate money and opt to cook for myself? Director 1 should get a medal for informing the fish fam
I’m trying to avoid it but tonight we went crazy and got Domino’s for a bit of fun
