For those of you that are job hunting, how’s the hunt going? I was looking around for the past month+ or so and sent out 30 applications without a bite. My family’s in the area so I’m waiting it out

Dear Peanut paying companies (TCS especially), don’t you have some basic manner in valuing the precious time of Candidates? When you’re scheduling interviews, you asked about the current salary and expectation. Even though knowing the peanut you’re going to offer is way below Candidate’s current salary, why are you still processing for further interviews? Don’t you ashamed of yourself calling as a Recruiter? These are basic manners/commonsense, which you guys are unaware of!!!

What are the red flags to look out for when interviewing?

I had two interviews with two people at different companies and each time the interviewer had their camera off stating that they are having connection issues. Is that acceptable for candidates to do?

Is it normal to be ghosted by career coaches? I mean, they are recruiters technically? I’m trying to find one in tech

What are the kinds of questions asked in swiggy interview for QA/SDET having experience almost close to 5 years.

Need some advice. Recently joined my dream job, but the director I work for demonstrates toxic behavior. I have been only few months in this role and it would not look good if I start looking again. Leadership is aware, but they can’t do much because of some internal politics. I am 100% staffed on her projects and it becomes overwhelming mentally. These are multi-year SOWs and large clients. Would you try to make it work or start applying somewhere else?

I got my offer with Cognizant around 45days back but my BGV turned to be red due to the feedback from my 1st employment (worked around a year back) as of now HR is saying he is discussing with management and mostly my offer may get dropped off (as per his statement). Now again I got a call for an interview and didn't showed them my previous exp so my question is can I attend this interview or it will again cause any problem? I interviewed for a job a month ago. A few weeks after the interview, I was told my feedback was good, but the company was evaluating all positions at the company at this time. Today, I saw the job is no longer posted, but my application is still "active" in the workday system. Anyone have any idea what this would mean? I don't want to continuously bother the recruiter.

I think I bombed a case interview with Chartis for an associate consultant position. The case was in excel and required me to manipulate the data via share screen with the interviewer. I couldn’t get some functions to work and was struggling to go through the 16 page PDF of data. I had several answers correct but needed to walk through the remaining questions with some guidance. My other 3 case interviews went well and I had great conversation with the partner for behavioral interview. Thoughts?

Hi All, Just after a terrible talent acquisition process. I applied for a job got contacted and told bookk a time with a member of the TA team. Booked the meeting which got moved twice and then cancelled. Different team member contacted me then and asked me to book time which I did. Initial meeting cancelled and second meeting was told the original requisition was filled vut a new one was being loaded and they would be in contact. Needless to say i withdrew myself from the process.

What are thoughts on art directors in advertising to get a masters or not? Game changer? Master degree hold any value, or is the book only still the criteria?

I'm looking for a good social reporting tool. At the moment I'm using sproutsocial but it's expensive and want a change.

The only catch is, I haven't found any other tool that reports competitors stats, which is great for benchmarking and client retention.

Any recommendations?
