I have taken parts 1 and 2. The exam questions can get tricky but if you know the material and do as many practice questions you will be fine. None of the concepts are difficult. Taking part 3 soon.

McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Hiiii! I’ve been at my job for a year and a couple of months now & I’ve gotten rather bored because the work is repetitive, not challenging, and hasn’t really allowed me to learn or grow as much as I would’ve liked to. Given how I’m still paying a ton of money for my postgrad in Business Comms (that I haven’t really gotten the chance to use), I’ve been thinking of entering the world of consulting. Hoping for some advice on how to properly leverage another job offer to help make another company pull the trigger on you. I’ll explain: I’ve been interviewing with Company A for a month now and have met with GC, CFO, creatives, and today the final round with HR and CEO. I have a good feeling they will extend an offer but it’s not a slam dunk. I think I’m top 2. Company B has extended an offer but one that I’m not really considering (moving to a new city/not enough money). Do I mention this....

How do people in the IA profession motivate themselves? Personally, I love the fact that we are exposed to different business processes (rather than a specific number or subject matter), also I actually like the fact we are a bit more creative than the typical “in our less than humble opinion we think this number is not too incorrect” approach adopted by our external counterparts.

I’m hiring a global internal auditor. Will pay relo. 15% international trip will be included. Please message me if you are interested in it.

Would it be difficult to get a job in IA if most of my experience has been auditing private non-404 asset mgmt funds? I really enjoy process walkthroughs when I have them though. Also, does title matter that much in IA? I’m a manager now, but based on job descriptions it looks like I might have to go for a senior auditor role because audit manager roles generally call for 8+ years from what I’m seeing. Can title be negotiated?
