I had success but I didn’t go on bedrest. I didn’t partake in any vigorous activity such as exercise, but I otherwise continued my usual routines.
Pro
No bed rest - I did the opposite - light activity (shopping, walking) same day. I didn’t run or bike for about a week. That was my only modification of lifestyle.
I’d heard about pineapple core. I ate a lot of pineapple, but decided not to eat the core.
Good luck!
We did acupuncture before and after the transfer, and for day 1 and 2, I played couch potato per RE instructions. Starting Day 3, mid pace walking for 45 minutes, and not overly active lifestyle (as in no jumping around per my RE), but definitely no bed rest. The major thing that helped me was to plan my activities for 2 weeks prior to transfer like having a list of TV shows I want to catch up, books ready to ready anything really to keep my kind of the 2 week wait.
*mind off
No bed rest! I took it very easy the day of, and I was told to refrain from strenuous exercise and sex until we could hear a heartbeat. Still went on daily walks and did some light yoga.
Bed rest was completely advised against by my RE. Movement is better for overall blood flow. Post transfer, I hung out on the table for 10 minutes, FINALLY peed and went about my days as normal. We were just asked for refrain from sex until heart beat is seen on ultrasound.
I tried meditation before each of my transfers except for the last one. It was our Hail Mary before delving into busy season and having to pause on transfers. I guess what I technically did was try to not focus on it too much. Luckily I was on a massive off calendar year audit so was able to completely focus on that. Best of luck!
