The extra money is great. But I truly enjoyed getting my MA in my discipline. It gives me some other options.

I did a blended program of Educational Technology through Concordia University in Irvine. It was a good program and reasonable at about 15k. I got a salary bump of 10k/year so that was a no-brainer. A few of us at my site did the program together which made it way better as well. They also offer a full online program as well as one condensed into one year.
I did the 1 year online program. It was rough- the pace was brutal on top of a personally rough year of illness and loss. But the teachers were great and supportive; I learned sooooo much!
Yes yes yes!!! Fortunately for me, I was able to go back to a university and do it in person. It was wayyyyyy cheaper than online. Big difference in salary.
YES! 100%!

I enjoyed my masters program. It hasn’t changed my salary much but I’m done with salary points.
Meh 🤷♀️ I guess over the years I’ve made the money back from the little extra I get per year for it. It bumped me over on the pay scale but I could have bought units throughout other opportunities.
I think it depends on the person if it’s really worth it.
Definitely! The extra money has been good and I actually learned so much that really changed my teaching (and I’d been teaching more than 20 years!)
Yes. I went back at 23 so I have lots of years to benefit from the bump in pay
