For those of you who work remote and lived far from a major city / airport how have you negotiated travel costs with your job? Have you been able to expense car service to the airport? Extra nights in hotels etc?

Hi all! I am looking for a new role. I would really prefer remote as my fiancé just got new orders, so we will be stationed in another state in a little over 6 months and I want to find a company I can remain with long term! I have a masters degree in applied psychology and previously worked as a social worker and program coordinator. Obviously, as it shows, I am currently working as a recruiter with a staffing agency. I am open to a variety of roles within HR!

How has Covid impacted your fringe benefits? Travel perks (miles, points, per diem, meals, client events, etc.) we’re a major selling point in joining my firm. Our travel has been all but slashed, but I’m not seeing any consolidations to make up for these lost benefits.

Has anyone dealt with this before?
I am moving to the UK in Aug from the States, but I have a snub nosed pet and they’re not allowed on flights to the UK.

Yesterday I got mail from ID department to surrender the ID card for getting clearance as a response I dropped a mail to them today that I have lost my ID card and they can deduct the card fee from FnF amount.
