For those of you who’ve caught Covid, what symptoms have you experienced outside of the standard coughing?

I experienced headaches, body aches, chills, tiredness, and a loss of my sense of taste and smell

Taste and smell are key.

Randomly got pink eye

My five years old said today "I hope Santa won't get Coronavirus."

Any local career coach recs? Husband is trying to transition back into workforce after COVID downsizing , he’s been contracting for a small firm but they don’t have resources to bring him on full time.

My husband and I have both been working from home during COVID. We have young children. We have a Nanny now. The children love her. I love her. My husband hates her. He can’t find a way to get along with her. Or speak to her in a productive way. However, now I am going back to office a few days a week and my husband is threatening to fire her with no notice if he has to deal with her when I’m not there. I’d love any advice simpler than “divorce your husband” or “get a new Nanny.”

My org has been flexible on RTO but has said they want everyone in office for specific meetings we have 2 days every quarter. These meetings work better in person. Travel is reimbursed. I’ve let my direct reports know that aside from those quarterly days, they can do what’s best for them. I have one direct who has been pushing back about the 2 days a quarter b/c he wants 100% remote & never wants to be in an office again. Am I crazy for thinking he’s being ridiculous? It’s 8 days a year total.

Are you still afraid of catching COVID?

I foresee these averages being more favorable during and post COVID-19...

While most teachers are protected by teacher unions, I feel my voice hasn’t been heard at all with my concerns of going back to school next week. Our diocese has decided on full return 5 days/ week for all 42 schools despite a recent increase in COVID in our communities. Every other school that I know of in my state is either choosing remote learning to start the year or a hybrid approach, yet that was not an option for us. Are other Catholic schools I. The same boat? Stay safe!

Due to COVID impact on my family, I had to take a long break (10 months) from work, went back to the home country and be with them. Since things are settled now I would like to get back to work. I have over 9 years of experience and on H1-B visa. How should I justify the gap to the recruiters? What kind of questions can I expect?

For immunocompromised folks: Are you back to working at your office? And if so, what precautions are you taking in a world in which it seems most people aren’t concerned about getting COVID and then spreading it to others?

Folks with COVID-19 symptoms, have you felt lightheaded or extremely weak? I’m in week 3 and feeling better, but almost collapsed today getting up. Not sure if I’m just out of shape.

On 2/29, Trump called concerns over coronavirus a "hoax." How, today, are Trump fans saying "no one anticipated this?" What was Trump calling a hoax if not the anticipation of this?

Does anyone has the newest insight of how long the virus can last on different surfaces? I used this which is one of the only few that tells you about different surfaces. But this implies that for example your grocery bags and food packaging is not “100% safe or coronavirus free until after 3 days, and touching those surfaces could cross contaminate other things in your house, ultimately making people more likely to get the virus into their bodies. What’s your take on this?

For those of you that have had COVID, how long did you wait before returning to work? (remotely) Still feeling a bit clammy and my back is super achey but overall much better than I was a few days ago. Just curious when others said “good enough” and started working.

I was put on a project with a senior mgr who has been at the same client for 7 years. I haven't done any of this before and have no domain expertise. A partner literally put me up to it and I'm here.

Is an MBA really worth it? I personally know 3 SMs who made it from BA to SM in 7/8 years without an MBA. There is more to a career than money but I feel like an MBA kinda just sets you back financially and career progression wise. I’m asking because the typical MBA path is 5 years pre MBA -> MBA -> SC What am I missing?
