Considering a move to work at a global immigration law firm - in a corporate/shared services leadership role (data management). It is a significant opportunity - growth, 2 levels up, 50-60% comp bump. Was recruited by a former colleague. With a potential recession on the horizon, how secure would this move be based on the industry and field? How might layoffs/hiring pauses in other industries impact global immigration workload and therefore potential layoffs within global immigration field?

I've changed jobs every year for the past 5 years, within the same field; I haven't worked at a place I would consider spending a long time at. I've never been fired or even written up, but the job changes are reflecting as negative when looking for a new job. Any suggestions to get perspective employers to give me a chance?
I am looking for a referral for Marketing/Product Management. My previous job got terminated in layoff.
All of the Big 4 right now swapping their own layoffs in and out as new hires at a lesser FTE to work ratio like...
I quit my previous job approximately 5-6 months ago due to toxic culture and being pressured to commit fraud… I fear hiring managers see that I’ve been out of work for this time and may assume I was fired or laid off. Additionally I’ve had a couple interviews where company “X” interviewers have commented on this and in an effort to not bad mouth my previous employer I’m stuck with a generic answer like I want to take my career to the next level with Company “X.” Any thoughts/advice?
Is it safe to hide the fact that I was part of a group layoff and say instead that I chose to leave? Can recruiters find out the truth from my former employer and hurt my chances?
Has anyone dealt with contractors threatening to lien their property. I fired a contractor and I will need to redo everything but they claim they did the work to standard and are demanding payment. Not sure if I should get a lawyer now or if/when they actually lien my house.
I will be laid off.

Hey everyone. I was just laid off from my job today. If anyone has any opportunities I would really appreciate it. Thank you
How is the Accenture workday practice? I feel like I used to have a recruiter email me weekly to join pre-pandemic and it’s been silent since then. Did they have layoffs or just a hiring freeze, and can i expect them to start hiring again anytime soon?

Hi all, I was recently impacted by layoffs and hoping for some leads for Sr. HRBP, or similar, roles either remote or in the Greenville, SC area.

Had a fight with my MD or let's say more like argument. After that the next 2 months was endless nitpicking and pulling me for mistakes that aren't really in my control.
Post 3 months, I apply for a transfer. Transfer process delayed for some process reasons
No negatives/issues in my f22 feedback. Utilization above target. Way Above average
Recently fired without reason
Who should I escalate to?
PS: Ignore typos. Written in anger
What will happen if I miss the time sheet submission deadline 3 times within one fiscal year? Will that impact my performance? I heard people even got fired because of this.

I’m thinking of joining a new growth equity fund with a 150M fund size. I’d be the first associate hire. Coming from 3 years in consulting. Any key questions I should be asking? Anything I should keep in mind? Any ideas on comp / package I should try to go for? Going in blind, so any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated
After starting in Tech Consulting and eventually moving to Strategy (over 4 years ago), I can’t thank myself enough for the move. The critical thinking, structuring, analytical, and financial acumen skills have been immensely helpful in my career post-consulting, especially compared to counterparts who didn’t have that training 🙏🏼
