For those that are thinking of moving to new jobs. Are you worried about moving to a new company and being laid off? With the economy the way it is and rumors of lay offs this is something that makes me think twice about leaving. I am aware that it can happen at my current company but it's it more likely to be laid off first in a new company?

Anyone know any biotechs/Pharma (ideally oncology-focused) that are looking for a VP (or even SD for the right TC) of BD/CorpDev and allowing for remote/travel models (if not Boston-based) or at least a Boston-based hybrid model? I know someone with good biotech/Pharma BD&L experience that is looking for a new role given the current biotech layoff scene. Is it any surprise we’re seeing mass layoff in tech? Years of rich friends hiring rich friends with no work ethic has lead us here. I know way too many tech people who work maybe an hour a day followed by errands and traveling. A lot of getting in these places is who you know, apparently that doesn’t work out like it used to. The amount of people who worked for Meta, Apple, Amazon, etc for a few months / maybe a year is astounding. it’s around that time frame a boss can tell if you’re worth it

Can you get fired for having low utilization as a senior? My billable hours this busy season have been much lower than my peers.

I'm in salary negotiations for a great role, but there's a small gap (~$10k) to even match my old salary. They have most of the obvious benefits like unlim. vacation, low healthcare premiums, 401k matching, permanent WFH, etc.

Right now, severance pkg. and a more senior title are most important. Has anyone negotiated a title bump? Outcome?

They are force innocents to resign by themselves and threating then to not to mail anyone and not share this context to anyone worst company, if layoff means ok removing and threatening to not to disclose to anyone means the have lost every single moral. Don't fall trap in the brand name @PWC.
