All about the person not the chain or venue. Use ME and go until you find someone you really like
ME can't beat the deal. Have been a member now for 10 years
Used ME to find some I really liked. Most weren’t terribly business minded trying to charge me more than ME 😂. My boutique is $39/hr and I have been with him for 5 years now.
ME is $60 for an hour for members. 80 i think for non members. Membership is $60 a month and you get one hour credit included per month.
I’ve had good sports massage therapists at Aveda. My goal is to have knotted up neck and back muscles worked on, not really looking for relaxation massage
I go to a massage training institute for mine, $59 for 60 minutes
ME has low standards on who gives massages... Asian spots in nyc have been pretty good for me
I only do boutique type places and prices vary from $100-$300 depending on the services... 60 min massage is usually $100
Massage Envy on upper east side in NYC is a terrible place and avoid if you can. There are far better independent places that are cheaper, cleaner and with better therapists. Try Yelp in your City
A2 you are not from nyc area, are you?

ME has low standards. Asian spots are good for me. Seems like an oxymoron.
ME has great deals, quality could be better somewhere else from someone who had gotten many massages to help chronic neck and shoulder pain. Trigger point or deep tissue or it won’t improve chronic pain and knots. $100 avg ME is less for one hour
I only go to AMPs. I live in NYC and the prices are reasonable.
M2 - all about the HE at the amp?
If you like the model of ME, but want better standards, check out Hand & Stone. So much cleaner, way better therapists, and you earn points on everything for free upgrades. The challenge for those of you in NYC; they only have locations in Jersey and Long Island
ME had a person I loved them he went back to school. Finally after 4 years I found someone again that is great at my ME
I have an ME subscription for home but I use AMPs in NYC during project because you don’t need an appointment and they have flexible hours. Pros and cons to both.
