For those that have left their firms recently, any lesson learned? Things to avoid, surprises you didn’t expect, etc...

1) stay in touch with the people from your old firm. That network will be valuable over the long run.

2) inevitably, there will be things about your new firm that will disappoint you. Understand that no company is perfect, and switching firms is just another way of picking a new set of pros and cons (there will always be cons).

3) don’t ever look back and second guess your decision to leave once you have started the new gig. Chances are, you can’t go back to where you came from, so it’ll just be incessantly emotional turmoil regretting your choice.

4) as angry/upset as you may be with your current employer, don’t ever leave on bad terms. Don’t alienate people/burn bridges during your exit interview etc. as big as this industry is, it’s also kinda tight knit. You never know when you might need those relationships in the long run.

5) first impression at the new firm form quickly. Take some time before you start to think about the mistakes you made in behavior/personality that adversely affected your brand at the last firm, and work towards avoiding them at the new place. It’s your fresh start.

6) before you sign the offer letter, spend some time thinking about your long term goals/vision. You should have a very clear answer on how the new opportunity will help you get there.

Just my $0.02.

Yeah it is just grass on the other side but for more money. Leave on good terms, “try new things” etc. it is a small world.

Super generic question and apologies if it’s been asked before: What’s your crypto investment strategy? I’ve lightly dabbled in crypto but want to increase my exposure to crypto and am thinking of allocating ~50% of my monthly savings to crypto in a DCA weekly manner (of which, 50% to larger cap coins like BTC and ETH, remaining to smaller alt coins and some USDT for staking)

Hello. I’m a recent graduate for MS in Regulatory Affairs and Health Policy. I’ve been looking for jobs for the past couple of months but all I see are positions looking for candidates with multi-year experience and Directors/Ass.Dir.

Can I get some advice? Or anyone know of a company hiring for entry-level? I’m mainly interested in RA for healthcare related companies (pharma, Med devices, hospitals, etc).
