For those that left PA before senior title, would you mind sharing companies that you interviewed with or resume? I’m having a hard time getting any response :(

What role are you aiming for? I was recently promoted but didn't have issues applying at the associate level

you're not getting any looks despite PA exp? Are there any hard reqs you're not meeting on the resume then? Most of the time if you're not getting any callbacks or even first interviews, it's an issue with the resume

Toronto banks: remote or not? They sometimes post jobs where it doesn’t say it’s remote, but no branch/ location/address either. Then you get an interview and they tell you it’s remote/hybrid(1-2-3days, take your pick)/on-site. So, if you work at TD, Scotia, RBC, could you let everybody know in the comments what’s the deal for each? Are you remote, on-site, hybrid of some sort?

About 10 years ago, I worked in HR talent development, so I have that I suppose. Any tips? Thanks!

Hi! Would like to get some perspectives on the Walmart and Amazon offers that I just received. Slightly more interested in Amazon Fashion's work but it's offered at $80K less than Walmart...

A few questions here:
1) Is the Amazon brand better than Walmart that's worth $80K in TC?
2) Are Strategy roles better perceived than Marketing roles and will have higher long-term pay potential? (I went to business school where almost everybody wants to do Strategy...)
3) Is Amazon culture very concerning?

I am about to marry someone who is in finance/trading and he makes personal investments in the stock market (including in individual stocks, etc). How do people in similar positions like us manage risk of insider trading? Obviously, we don’t discuss anything about work, have separate offices etc. but when I talked to a risk manager at my law firm, he noted that the amount of info I have access to can be considered a risk and just invest in indexes. So f…ing tired of padding bills.

I’m an inhouse lawyer often working with biglaw. On a cost-sensitive project we’re working on, we agreed on a max cost limit.

Initial 30m meeting with partner and sr associate, jr associate comes in. I instruct them to limit inititial work to half-3/4 day of research and putting thoughts down to the paper.

We received a 10p legal memo without further discussions.

First bill:

Limit maxed
Junior associate billed 50h
Partner billed 1h for 30m meeting

Crazy!!
