For those that work for Capital One, are you allowed to work remotely while out of the country?

I had a colleague whose boss let them do so under the table but not sure how that flies in other orgs

I know people that have done this at other companies, but I’m unsure of how it actually works at Capital One.

A friend of mine had such a possibility at work, but I can't say for other companies.

I don't think so - Cap One doesn't seem that flexible

In 2020 it was not strictly enforced but in 2021 they went back to not allowing it. HR reached out to me saying they had a record of someone on my team VPNing in from outside the U.S. It is something the security team monitors.

Hey! This is a difficult question but here it goes...

I started freelancing in digital marketing in 2018 and I created an agency, it's not legally registered but I have been using the name and putting myself out there as an agency.

In 2021 I started working at another agency and they made signed a non compete agreement. I left that job a few months ago and I'm back to freelancing but I'm worried about the agreement potentially being a pain in the # now or in the near future. Any advice?

Honestly, is this year ever going to end? These evals are killing me! 😣
