Acn is more chill but promotions can take forever and I feel like the people are less motivated.... in comparison to D - the people are way more motivated which in turn keeps you on your toes always and there are clear timelines for promotions with the up or out model. I truly missed ACN and the people when I left but looking back at a year at D I feel like I've worked harder and pushed more than ever before.
Oh also bonuses @ D >>> ACN which is so nice at the end of the year. ACN bonuses and raises are awe-fully low and discouraging even for high performers.
Booz before the split.
Worked at PwC, then D, and now ACN. Agree with D1 that ACN is more chill, but that's exactly what I needed. The pros of consulting (variety of projects, etc) without the cutthroat lifestyle.
D1, that kind of evens out though by just having a higher base in general. I believe ACN pays the most out of big 4/ACN.
ACN with AT Kearney a close 2nd. PwC was a shit show. Would never recommend it to anyone.
D3 is right - base and bonus is much higher at D. I don't know about campus hires. This is mostly in regard to experienced hires in my case.
Deloitte 100x over Accenture.... the posts here are incredibly douchey by Deloitte and hateful about deloitte (with much of it founded) but I've had a great personal experience and group of people
PwC > KPMG
No love for EY? 😒
A1 no way at least for the strategy group, cost structure and margin is way higher here, much higher base comp and annual bonus level for level
D3, from what I understood, ACN is much higher at the entry-level ranks because D doesn't adjust for COL with analysts. But as one climbs, D is sufficiently greater.
Yes they do pay out high for campus recruits to attract talent. Had some business analysts making 3x my first job out of college !
A2 What didn't you like about PwC? Was thinking of switching once I hit manager
