Can project and share whiteboard during meeting. Also can add the mural app to a team for some functionality from Mural.

Maybe, during a meeting with people click on the share screen icon, the last option for me at least is white board. Then it shows for everyone and we can all use it. I did not need to install anything, maybe IT did centrally?

like

When you right click the Teams icon there’s an option called “Quit”. Works wonders

I just want to hear the explanation for why staff who started during COVID are doing so badly on average (and I have heard this from every level including staff themselves) from the pro 100 percent work from home people. If you agree it’s real, what is your solution? If it can’t be fixed, are we just accepting that the people we expect to backfill our positions aren’t going to be ready?

Hey Creatives, how you collaborate differently in these remote-working times? Any successes or blockers?

I don’t belong in my job. I didn’t mind it when I joined in January and was interacting but as we’ve been work from home longer, the less motivation I have. I don’t enjoy the work but I’ve gotten unlucky with my teams too, and can’t remember the last time my manager praised me without a critique. Maybe I’m just bad at my job. At this point I just am doing the bare minimum to not get fired. What do I do? Should I look for a job that I actually would enjoy doing or stick it out?

Any advice for those really struggling with motivation and tiredness? I’m split across three modules and feel constantly tired and unproductive. With WFH I’ve got into a bad habit of taking naps during the day, and trying to cram the work in the evening, which is somewhat okay for getting through the day-to-day, but I feel like it will all come crashing down soon, plus it leaves no time to do anything I enjoy.

Hi! I found a Salesforce position in corporate development that I think I'm an excellent fit for! Is it best to apply through a referral? Also, since the position is remote, does it matter if it's based in one state and I'm in another? I've been hearing great things about Salesforce and am very excited about this opportunity. Any advice is greatly appreciated! I seriously think this is my dream job :)

Got an offer from EY India with 110% hike on my 6.9 CTC. But location is chennai because it's the client location as well and as per their director's communication with me it will be remote as of now and they can change the location later. Shall I trust them ? And how is work from home policy in EY India especially before pandemic? Shall I switch or stay back?

Is there a time when people generally “start” work remotely? Back when I was a summer before the pandemic, I commonly saw people go in between 9-10 am but I didn’t know what the norm is now that we are remote. I see emails at 8 am and I’m not sure if I’m expected to respond then or not. Also if you are on a deal where some of the members are in NY and you’re in the Midwest, are you expected to go by their times and be on when they are on?

My LO has an infection with high fever and my husband and I have been WFH all week to take care of her. Even though the infection is not contagious, it’s instructed by our pediatrician that she cannot go back to daycare until she’s fever free without any medication for 24h. My husband has been antsy to go back to work and has informed me that he absolutely has to go back tomorrow no matter what and we should just send her back to daycare with a dose of Motrin in the morning.

My skin isn't the best and with WFH - I have been doing the basics : moisturiser and sunscreen everyday which has really helped. Next year, I'm likely to be back full time in the office and on client site - and I want to do the bare minimum makeup wise. Can someone provide me your "bare minimum" routines and also - makeup/skincare brands! :)

Hey comrades. My agency (independent agency in Chicago, not CIMA) is looking for a talented ACD/AD to primarily work on Porsche. We handle US creative across all channels. If you’re in Chicago or looking to get into the market, this is a solid opportunity. This will be a remote opportunity until the fall (so far as we know). We’d like to prioritize POC talent with automotive/luxury brand experience and solid design chops. Hit me with a direct message if you’re interested.

Anyone take courses/get a degree from Harvard Extension School? Experience? Was it worth it? Are you also able to build a network? Realize it’s not like an MBA, but that doesn’t fit my life now .

Two CBS-related questions: 1. How long did it take ED applicants to hear back about interviews? I applied ED 3 weeks ago and am anxious about waiting. 2. Probably a silly question, but does CBS actually check in with the alums you say you’ve spoken to? I listed a few where I’m setting up the convo but it technically hasn’t happened yet.

I will be graduating this Fall, currently interning for TI as a Product Marketing Engineer; I will most likely accept an offer for their Technical Sales Representative 9month rotation program. The pay seems great ($113k base&bonus + 115% - 250% Payout) after finishing the rotation program. I enjoy the Sales Engineer role and think TI is a great company. Is it worth it to still apply to other companies this Fall recruiting season? (I want to be in San Francisco and possibly NYC.)
