What salary should I expect as a tax technology consultant entry level at Deloitte? — CSG group —
I know salaries are based on work location. I need some guidance please. I will add that I have one year experience as a former tax associate at PwC and I completed my Master two months ago. No CPA yet. Deloitte
A&M bonus announcement day today!
I have been in Consulting for only 6 months with prior industry experience in government yet I have been interviewing with two possible job offers.
One at Deloitte at a Senior Analyst level in Real Estate and the other Accenture doing similar stuff to my current role but at $10k to $20k more than what I'm currently on.
My question is, is there any way my current firm will look at my salary if i have a conversation with them or will I have to make a lateral move to get more and promoted?

Thoughts? Because this is exactly how I’m feeling. Out of all of my projects, there’s only 1 other person in my office that is on one of them so there’s none of this i”n-person collaboration” that companies kept preaching. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-04-01/employees-are-returning-to-office-post-covid-just-to-sit-on-zoom-calls

3x when purchased. Down to 2x mortgage now due to income growth. I do not recommend stretching on the mortgage unless you want to lose some serious sleep
6x. Judge me. I am not happy about it either.
4.2x when we bought. 1.7x now due to income growth. Mortgage, taxes, insurance, and HOA was 27% of gross when we bought, 11% now.
Isn’t the total loan amount more important than the sale price? If you don’t have a large downpayment then I can understand the question, but if you’ve been able to put 20% or more down on the property, your ratios will be significantly different.
About the same including 30% bonus
Clearly local is a consideration. My mortgage is 1.2x household income in Chicago.
If I were in NYC or SF, I’m sure it would be 4x+
2.45
Mine is 1.2x household income (wife+myself). We’d buy more house if it wasn’t for student loans.
Bought at 2.14 over a year ago and sell price is about 2.5 now. So right in the range :)
2.58x purchase price. 2x mortgage amount
Yes 3x
Ours was 2.7x mine and my husbands salary combined
1.2x for me. Wanted to keep that mortgage payment low since I'm gone 3-4 days a week!
Mine was <1.5x HHI. Next one will be similar %, but on much higher comp. High (but no NY/SF) COL, in the city
Right in that range. Bought a bit over 11 years ago. Paid off almost 8 years ago. Dallas. Not looking to buy up as I’m at the top of where I’d like to be with property taxes and insurance. Luckily I like my house and love the location (no desire to move to suburbs). Single
We are at 1.4x
1.5
Mine, combined with my spouse was at 3.5x, but we live in NYC.. well, what can I say?
Home price was 4x my salary but I put 20% down.
1.5x on the mortgage amount
