I'm an SVP/strategist with 25 yrs exp., but only 3 years in healthcare. I'm being recruited for a GSVP "account leadership" role (i.e., not on the strategy team) for two big unbranded campaigns. It sounds great, they know my med/reg comms exp. is very light, and I think I can do the job, but: Is there a real future for me on the account side if, at GSVP level, I still haven't done much meg/reg? Would this be the end of the line for me, with limited mobility because my expertise is too narrow?

So I had been working as medical interpreter up to the early part of this year. Today, during an interview, the Director with whom I was interviewing genuinely urged me to consider pursuing a career as a PA or even attempt to go to medical school. I had considered it in passing before but today was about the third or fourth time that someone had earnestly nudged me in that direction. Has anyone here made such a career pivot before? Anyone else HATE the word “full stack developer” in a lot of tech/LinkedI blog posts? the ONLy time I personally feel it is applicable is when it is being used to describe a developer in a specified domain— or more appropriately— for a specific company.

Ie: Amazon is ran by Java, SQL, and AWS for the most part right? so a full stack developer at Amazon would be competent in those “tech stacks”. However— when I see the word “full stack developer” used as a job title to describe broad categories

How do I avoid giving up my desired salary first? Tired of recruiters asking me what my salary expectations are without offering the salary range for the position first. My salary expectations are based on a multiple factors. In some instances I am willing to take a lower salary, but I don’t want them to know that.
