Last week my onboarding formalities for ZS Associates like recent degree marks sheet, address, PF details etc and physical address verification for BGC was completed.
My joining is next week. What formalities can I expect this week ? Will I get the laptop before joining or after joining ?

My piece of advice is to stop trying to build a connection over the app and just ask the person out. Build a connection over drinks! If it’s not meant to be, then at least you tried and onto the next!
This is very true - I can always tell when a couple met online. Can’t explain it.

Found my husband on OKC. His opening message was “hi I also like {list of things I put in my bio}” and then we started talking about those. In general I think asking about a favorite video game is a good place to start, then lead them into asking questions about you. It’ll become evident pretty quick if there’s nothing to bond over.
Ultimately, we talked for about a week then felt like it’d be more fun to just see each other in person so we got dinner. After that I felt like bonding over text became so much more natural.
My partner and i met on bumble…and my opening line was a tik tok video that was relevant to one of the thing in his bio (btw I’m 28… so the fact that a tik tok brought us together…). We chatted for a while (1 evening over text kn the app) and had things in common, and seemed to share general interests and vibes, so we met for drinks and snacks. It went well enough that we’ve been together for about a year
I had plenty of conversations that just died out, and then others I met up with after food conversations and the actual date flopped. It’s a numbers game. So I guess just ensure there is some initial chemistry on the app, and then just meet up
