12 hours for heavy side effects for Moderna. Shot at 9am, started feeling a bit tired around 5-6pm, but 9pm hit me like a ton of bricks. Got terrible body aches and fever of 101. Fever subsided the next day but was still a bit achey and SUPER tired. The day after that I was back at 95% thankfully. But my husband who got the shot the same time as me fared much better. He only felt tired but didn’t get any body aches or fevers. Never of us took meds but only because we didn’t have Tylenol on hand. Wish we did!

Also had the exact same side effects for Moderna Just a little sooner like 6 pm for total misery and after hydrating/eating/half a Tylenol/3 hour nap I feel slightly better now.

tired within 6 hours, fever 24 hours after but very mild and only for the rest of that afternoon. moderna first shot and had covid last year

Almost exactly 12 hours. Pfizer.

Same

Didn’t experience anything the second time with Pfizer. The first time though I felt like I had full body cramps. 2nd time as a piece of cake.

Ah M1 that lines up with folks have been telling me. Happy you’re vaccinated and Covid is behind you!

About 5 hours I felt tired and slight chills. About 8 hours later I had a slight fever. The fever went on for about 24 hours but I took meds. I didn’t feel horrible but I didn’t feel myself either. Didn’t last long though.

12 hrs exactly for Moderna

like

Moderna- got my shot at 9am today. 5 hours in and my Arm is sore but not yet to the level it was after the first shot. Minor chills and fever on and off

like

Moderna 18hrs after the shot got nauseous and flu symptoms 24 hrs after the shot I was fine

like

Pfizer - absolutely zero side effects either time. Slightly sore arm with 2nd but not anything close to what I’d consider a side effect.

like

I took a 4 hour nap 4 hours after I got the shot

Started getting a sore arm about 4 hours after, got a fever starting 18 hours after with the worst at around 30 hours after

Got Pfizer at 2:30. Sore arm and some fatigue by that evening. Next day, muscle aches, chills, and fatigue. Fatigue and slight chills continued for one more day after.

Got Pfizer at 8:30 am, fatigue by 7 pm. Woke up sometime in the middle of the night with a headache and body aches. Probably have a mild fever and still have the headache right now. I got the shot yesterday. Tylenol made it so I can at least get some work done

Nothing happened to me. I did get lot of acne though.

Omg! Maybe that’s why I suddenly broke out after!

12 hrs, Pfizer

7 hours later with Moderna

12 hours, Pfizer

I got Pfizer. Minor arm pain after both shots, starting a few hours after the shot. The pain got worse over the following 12-16 hours but was gone by 24 hours.

Thank you to everyone who responded! I got my second dose of Moderna yesterday at 9:15am. Got a stuffy nose shortly after and it was right about 12 hours I struck a fever, became nauseous, started having muscle twinges, got a headache

Can someone please help me navigate concerns about the vaccine? Literally all I hear from Fox News zombies saying big pharma and Bill gates are pushing the vax for personal profits only and Covid is not that deadly. What has worked with those in the inner network circle? What hasn’t? My pregnant wife who is nurse received both doses and I think a couple relatives believe the baby is going to be a cyborg.

Random Question - I live with a roommate for the last 2 years now. We have become really good friends and she is like a sister to me. We used to hangout and do a lot of fun stuff before COVID. When I make a plan to do something during COVID, I always include her to do or go somewhere. Of late, when she makes plans, she goes on her own or if she goes with her friends (whom I know), she would not invite me. I feel left out and sad because of it. I think I should not feel that way as she can

Has anyone gotten into arguments with family members over the science of COVID and taking the vaccine? I firmly believe that it ultimately is your decision whether to get vaccinated, but I’d also be remiss not to share why I think we should trust the science. I don’t think just sitting back and allowing another family to spew out far-right conspiracy theories to other family members is acceptable. And equally, I recognize what I’m doing may not be ok. Perhaps there isn’t an in between. 😒🥴

I’ve been seeing this a lot more recently and just had to make a thread about it. I refuse to believe that anyone on here has actually been asked to work a 100hr week. People come onto this thread with legitimate questions and concerns and I just see people trying to scare them out of public which inevitably makes it worse for everyone else who sticks around. Even an 80 hour week is debatable and that is the absolute top. Stop trying to be an attention getter. We work, but not 24/7.
