Hi Friend, Could you please let me know about vacancies for Consultant or Senior Consultant position in a Management Consulting firm? I have 2.5 YOE post MBA in Power and Utilities in a Big 4 company. Thanks for your time.
I am currently working at a big 4 in Strategy and Business Transformation practice. I recently came across the job of a S&O Manager role at Global Business Strategy. TBC
Accepted to a cornell EMBA that starts in the NYC area in June. Just joined a big 4 in TAS - does anyone have any advice or thoughts on a) is this feasible schedule wise b) is this worth it? Thanks
B4 strategy or general 🐠, would love your advice. Currently, 2 YOE at a well known non B4 firm doing PI/Transformation work. I didn’t get promoted this year because I didn’t have enough experience in my particular group because I was staffed on a different project for awhile. I’m interested in Strategy analyst roles (1 YOE). Will me not being promoted hurt my chances? I’ll probably get promoted at the beginning of 2022. Should I wait until then to apply? Thanks. Deloitte EY PwC
Any opinions on Armanino? I have an offer from Armanino and other big 4's. Risk advisory and assurance. What I like about the team at armanino is that its very small and I might get more exposure. Not sure about the culture and progression and pay
Anyone in Big 4 who is in AUP (unclaimed property)? I’d like to focus on it (best WLB I’ve seen so far) and jump firms. Have almost 2yrs AUP exp (more in tax). Can anyone share insights on your teams?
Thoughts on cyber exit opportunities from B4 to tech or defense firms with 2 years of software security experience and active sec+? Have heard work life balance and hands on experience are more common in industry
Do you think it’s reasonable to decline a job offer right now to another B4 due to market conditions and the pandemic?
In the final round of interview with a San Fran startup that’s about to go IPO... but I know I’d be also giving up lots of the structures & project flexibility & diversity offered here at big 4. What rationale would you use to make a decision?
For folks exiting to FAANG / Product at start ups or really any hot company. How do you go about networking to get the interview? Do you apply then cold email someone you may have an “in”with, or are you picking say 10 companies and then having warm contacts there that you’ll ping when you see a job. I’ve been passively looking for jobs but zero luck, I only want to leave for the right fit. Big 4 here so feel my brand won’t auto get me an interview like mbb/t2
Ex-Consulant here that now works for a big name Real Estate Investment Trust. Saw on LinkedIn that EY has an America’s REIT Leader. Didn’t know that much attention was paid to the REIT space. Are there really consulting teams dedicated to the REIT space in the Big 4? Love working for a REIT and would love to jump back to consulting if there were teams dedicated to the industry. EY Deloitte Accenture PwC KPMG
Thinking about leaving Big 4 Tax to join Andersen Tax. Has anyone made the same move? Would you recommend?
Does B4 let people go the same day as their resignation only if they’re going to a direct competitor? How about MBB or a tier 2 consulting firm? Have people been let go immediately in case they go to FAANG or other industry firms?
Saw a thread around the time rd 1 decisions were coming out that b4 applicants were getting absolutely slaughtered. Did that trend continue in rd2 for you all?
I feel as though the big 4 have so much administrative stuff to take care of cause we have the accounting arms, do MBB or boutique consulting firms have to worry about as many e-learnings & shit?
Where do B4 people live in NYC? Moving there next month as senior associate in advisory and looking for ideas
anyone know how to link Google classroom and PowerSchool together? our small school cannot afford Unified Classroom

I am a second year associate and i Recently got pulled out of my busy season and 10/31 year end job. I have no jobs booked after the pwc year end. Wondering if this relates to early promotion?
I need some classroom management ideas for middle school kiddos. I've tried everything in my bag of tricks and my students are constantly off task and disruptive.
Diversity is something that BBs have been pushing, but how well has it actually been executed? How diverse is your group?
Egg retrieval for IVF tomorrow! COVID test came back negative and did the trigger shots last night. The hcg trigger that goes in the butt caused much consternation but ended up being a breeze. NO injections tonight yay!
I am currently a fund accountant and am thinking about jumping ship to a new firm. I’m at a small fund and although the culture and WLB are great, I can see that there is no opening for assistant controller coming any time soon. Is it a bad if I consider looking elsewhere when I’ve only been there for a year? I hear it’s a strong market for candidates so I don’t want to miss out on a potential better opportunity for my career. Greatly appreciate any input.
First world problems, but damn, what status do I need to be assured a king size bed at Marriott? Apparently gold isn't enough...
Hey y'all! I just accepted an offer with Microsoft in the FRP. Does anyone have any recommendations for progressing within the company and making the most of the opportunity? I've heard a lot of stories of how crazy the salary can get so I'm definitely interested in hearing about various experiences! Potentially pivoting into consulting/product management. I'm honestly very open to multiple pathways and at this moment aiming for promotion and exposure asap!
What is the EY FSO-Finance Transformation practice like - does anyone have insight? Also, EY in general - benefits/culture/upper management? I heard about the flexible vacation, how does that work exactly?
Anyone have experience with CSR trip insurance? Need to move up flight back home given the impending hurricane. We’re here now. What’s the process? Airline or chase (booked with CSR points air+htl)?
