I use iPad Pro or laptop in tablet mode. Use mostly OneNote either way.

iPad Pro with Apple Pencil/magic keyboard and the notability app. Perfect to type or write with and I normally record people telling me about jobs so I can word for word remember what they said.

like

OneNote on the laptop

like

One Note is great had a staff teach me how to use it because I used to just take notes by hand n these keeps all my notes handy and organized

like

Laptop with One Note, HP two in one

OneNote

OneNote syncs between all your devices so you can take notes about anything you want wherever you are. Laptop if you’re working from home, iPad if you’re pretending to work from the beach, iPhone if you’re pretending to work while exercising. The options are limitless

I mean like writing with a stylus type of note taking. Should have been more clear!

iPad with the pen. I use notability app which hasn’t great search function on your hand writing.

Ipad

I use an iPad I like it

iPad with pencil in goodnotes. Has lasso function to convert handwriting to text and then just email the notes with minimal cleanup needed

I have a ReMarkable.

I like it. I have a folder for each client. Makes it easier to find my scribbles (don't have to flip through a notebook trying to figure out which page I wrote them on or panic when I can't find the post it note I used). I remember things better when I physically write them as opposed to using something on my computer. Plus I don't have to switch out of a document to write something. They do have the ability to connect to wifi. You can use them to read PDFs too and can send stuff from them. Like the other person who responded I too have terrible handwriting. I have not attempted to use the convert to text feature, but there is one.

For taking notes with a stylus, the surface pro has by far the best stylus I’ve ever used. I like it a lot more than the Apple Pencil, and it’s a pretty solid computer if you’re not integrated with Apple already

Thank you!

I’m curious how agencies structure data/analytics teams. Does your agency have a dedicated team for data & analytics? Does that team fall under digital, dev, or another umbrella? I’m in a new place and working closely with the analysis team, enjoying the collaboration quite a bit but wondering if it’s common.

Recently promoted to L5 in Strategy & Ops at Google. Feels like a good time to take stock of my career. I don't think I want to pursue a longer career in StratOps, but would like to stay in Google for the foreseeable future. I like the sound of PM roles (but aware it can be hard to transition / secure a role with limited PM experience). Any advice / opinions / warnings from ex StratOps folks OR folks who work with ex StratOps folks in new roles, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Given that people seem to be fleeing NYC, possibly long term, do you all think that this will create a substantial shift in the status quo of the legal profession? If the financial institutions switch to work from home long term or limit the amount of their workers in the city, will NYC still need to be the center of the legal profession or do you see other legal markets growing?

Interested in the job market in Charlotte. What are you guys doing (role), company, and how much do you currently make?

Do you think all these violent and hate filled attacks are because people aren't getting the emotional/mental support they need, whether it's therapy at any age or help they needed but didn't get from a social worker as a child? My coworker is sure this is the case, but I honestly think there's actually something deeper wrong either with how these people are being raised as children, or how the warning signs these people give off are ignored or swept under the rug to save face.
