Here is my situation - My firm wants me to stay and have matched the salary and topped it with retention bonus (makes me feel valued!) plus I have another offer from another Big4 - higher base pay than MCS (lower Total comp, because B4 don’t have stocks, etc), higher role and I know the leadership quite well (So faster promotions are very much possible).

Hearing mixed reviews about MCS.

How to deal with a new associate that does crappy work. I show them step by step and they always miss something that I said clearly. It's getting to be frustrating. They don't have a nasty attitude but clearly are missing important things I bring up.

They said this will be it for a RIF. (I hope so but don’t trust them.) 20 opted in, 35 moved to another position in the Firm and 15 were being let go. That makes 70 total when they told us only 60 people would be impacted.
