Ford Expedition Max Limited or Ram 1500 Night Edition?

2 middle schoolers, a dog, spouse and I. We love the outdoors. Go on road trips, and camping / kayaking often.

Current Toyota Highlander getting long in the tooth AND small.

I'll appreciate inputs from y'all, including suggestions on alternatives.

Looking good, enjoy!

Rented a Expo Max for a roadtrip to North Dakota. It’s got plenty of power, surprisingly good fuel economy, great sound system and plenty of space to seat four 6’5” guys and a weeks worth of camping stuff. If I needed anything that big, it would be it! Currently drive a Porsche though as it fits my single outdoor needs.

Appreciate the inputs!

Finally was able to test drive both, and decided on 2021 Ram 1500, Laramie, custom ordered with off road and sports packages, and fully loaded.

Spacious, smooth drive, lots of utility for our specific needs, lots of bells and whistles, and all at a better price point as compared head to head with Expedition MAX.

Thanks everyone for the inputs. Looking forward to taking delivery in a few weeks.

Think an SUV would be prudent - between the two I’d get the expedition

Thank you. 🙏

Probably expedition max, as it has the third row. Also check out the new suburban and Yukon xl.

Thank you

Which trim of 1500, Big Horn or Laramie? I've got the Longhorn with the black/saddle interior and it's a beaut.

That said, I wouldn't want to stick four people and a dog in the cab for more than short trips, that sounds pretty miserable. 4 people sans dog or 3 people and a dog, sure, but otherwise the dog isn't going to have much room without taking up feet space.

Congrats on the new ride! Post pics once it’s in the driveway!

The expedition would be my choice. The third row seat is much more valuable than you think. What if both your kids want to bring a friend? What if in-laws come into town? What if the kids just want space to stretch out?

The ram is great - powerful, comfy interior, and a bed. With a family of that size it won't give you much flexibility. Additionally, using a bed day to day is annoying. Groceries and bags have to go in the back-They slide around. Also street parking trucks sucks since their turniny radius is trash.

At the end of the day, drive both and bring the family to see what they think too.

Hello everyone, I am a fresher and I recently joined a management consulting firm(3 months) with 12+LPA and I realised MC is not for me.
I tried giving it a shot for the first 2 months but then I am just dragging there after. Anyhow yk how it's in MBA, campus placement leli without a thought plus lack of experience in everything. It's tough out there.
I am desperate to switch to creative/marketing/branding/advertising. If anyone could help/guide/refer me in the right direction that'd be great.

Does anyone have any experience about the Nissan Leaf? Looking to get a basic electric car to do my local miles (about 10 k a year) and don’t need anything fancy in terms of speed, looks etc. specifically looking for reliability and range of 150-200 miles without breaking the bank and the leaf seems to be the least expensive car out there after accounting for federal rebates. Or are there better options? Will keep my ICE SUV for longer drives. Most charging will be don’t at home overnight.

High performance wagons? Have under 2 years left on my m340 lease and really wish we got more wagons over in the States. Anyone have any recommendations for consideration? 2 kids fit fine in my car now,
but could use more space and do not want a SUV.

Thinking about buying a used luxury vehicle (BMW 4 series, Jaguar XF, Audi, etc), target $30K-$35K, less than 20K miles, and <3 years old. Any suggestions about target models? I don’t like the idea of buying new because of the premium/immediate depreciation, and leasing feels restrictive. Is this a bad idea?
