My other half (currently a Sr. Mgr in the data analytics consulting industry in UK) wants to work in Singapore - is there some sort of parents' visa so that his parents can tag along to stay in SG for the long term? Worried about them as he is the only child. His parents have the money to buy a condo if it helps with their long term stay situation.

Getting Job is our headache (they told they too will help)

And for Poland they are giving 12-14 months stay permit to find job and everything
Fees being charged is 6L

Are these reliable

I have had several rounds of interviews for a role at Visa London office. When I reached out to the HR to check on progress/status after what they called the "final round", they said everything is positive and then set up another round with the hiring manager last week. TBH, that round seemed as if they want to make sure I have understood the job well. And there has been radio silence after that. Any idea how to read this? I have another offer and deliberating if i should just accept that.

My client is a bully and treats me badly. He forces me to work till late by giving unrealistic timelines. Sometimes I end up working 18 hrs a day. From past 6 months, I haven't taken a proper vacation and now when I decided to take a 3 day leave during Thanksgiving, he questioned that. I'll take the leave anyway but all this impacts my mental health. I can't quit due to visa issues. Any tips to handle a bully?

Pros:

- fairly decent place to work (from someone who worked with the Vancouver and San Jose offices). never met a blue badger (permanent employee) who had awful things to say.

- Ashley Goodall (their SVP, Methods & Intelligence) co-authored a brilliant book on leadership and people management called “Nine Lies About Work” that makes me believe they can be an awesome place to work

Cons:

- red badgers had low morale since they’re contract workers and can be terminated at any time

Hello Everyone,

I'm currently a civil design engineer, and trying to switch to real estate as a Program Manager. I have an interview in a week where they tell me I will have to work on ( for about 3-4 hours ) on an operational case study.

The job is located in Paris and the job is in French .

Does anyone here have any case studies in Real estate that they can share ? and if they're from France, that would be even better.

Thank you in advance !

How do I find local attorneys to pair up with on cases? I’m licensed in an absurd number of cases and practice in debt defense/bankruptcy. So far, in all the states except my home state, all I’ve done is debt defense because with the 341s, it’s a little trickier than just sending local counsel. I’d draw up the plan and the attorneys in other states handle the more local aspects such as court appearances. I’m not asking how to get the clients, do a bankruptcy, or ethically split fees. Hi all, question about a senior partner at my firm. He is constantly messaging me late at night about non important things. He went off on me about minor issues in a draft I completed. And while he is on a case with me, is always eager to pass blame onto me, when he has been working on the file as well. I haven’t had issues with any other attorneys at my office. I’m definitely ready to leave over it. Am I being reasonable?
