Do hiring managers feel that flexibility in schedule should be viewed as compensation? I have a lot of flexibility in my scheduling (can take my kids to daycare drop off at 9am, can take them to the dr, etc)… but my salary is about $10-30K less than where I’d want to be. TIA for insight!

I’m in line for a promotion soon. I came into the company near the top of the VP/senior counsel band and with the expectation that I’d be promoted to AGC after a moderately long period. The pay band for the SVP/AGC counsel starts right about where I’d be with my normal 3% raise, but generally runs 15% higher than my current band. GC will likely try to manage their budget. Ignoring the math, what have others experienced when being promoted like this (what kind of raise relative to their band)?

I interviewed for a company and the interview went good but they decided to go another route with the position. They did want to see if I’ll be a good fit for another position. I thinking of asking for project release. How can I proceed with the this?

The TCS interview also didn’t ask any difficulty questions in interview and they hired me.
