Found a job posting I like on LinkedIn posted by recruiter who includes his phone number in the listing. Do I call? Anyone had success with that approach?

Company I’m interviewing for told me my last interview was the final round and id have an answer end of day... but then came back and asked me to do another assessment because they couldn’t decide between me and another candidate. I don’t even know how much they’ll pay me.

I’m doing the assignment now and it’s a lot of work... are they just trying to get free labor out of me? Should I just walk away?

Is there a way to check if my application is in process or rejected?

I need your advice. I have 1 years gap after graduation. I prepare for govt job . In between i worked on one company for 20 days, i left due to i was hired for different location and they don't provide me any exp/reliving letter but UAN was created.
