If the hiring manager wanted to schedule a meeting w an internal candidate 1 week the interview, is it likely good news or bad news? Im leaning towards bad news because good news is supposed to be delivered immediately. What’s your experience?
One of my top talents just put in his two weeks notice and I had nothing to offer him to stay. I told upper management this was going to happen! I’ve spent months asking for a promotion for him, trying to push his career forward and got no traction. I know i did my best. He knows i tried. I still believe i work at a good place but i feel like we’re losing focus. I feel my boss is leaving soon. It’s a mess.
In ibegin Gratuity fund form there's declaration "My father is dependent on me" and you select yes or no accordingly. Now when u download it as pdf the declaration is "my father is not dependent on me" but the answer is same as you provided in the portal.Anyone noticed this inconsistency and how are you guys proceeding ?

Good morning everyone! I have a interview as a account executive position for innovation refunds, that pays 100k + and I’m super nervous to have a interview it’s been so long ! Lol but I was wondering how can I tell what kind of environment it is, and what should I look out for? I just really don’t want to go to a sales job that’s cut throat and competitive where everyone is against each other. Working remotely now I don’t have that it’s very laid back. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!
Be my therapist for a second: started telling close family that were expecting, and they were all super thrilled for us. With every parent/sibling we told I got sad every time we shared the news. Its been a 3 year journey to get to this point including miscarriages and doctors appointments and treatments.
Anybody else go through something similar and able to pinpoint why it was hard telling ppl? I'm wondering if it's an anxiety thing like I'm scared to disappoint ppl with bad news down the line

I’m currently in general project management but want to transition into a product owner position. I am a certified web developer, SSGI Scrum Master and have previous sales experience. No degree. Any tips on how to transition? What certifications should I look at? Anybody’s company hiring?
Just curious about, is there really any impact on your career if you switch a company within a year, not for money but for good work and WLB.
Are the hiring managers going to weigh it while hiring you in future?
Like HM would reject just because you switched that early before, even if you skills are good fit?
Just hearing a lot of noise around it and want to hear from professionals here.

I am trying to break into healthcare consulting. I don’t like WFH full time so I’m looking to travel. I have my MHA and 3 solid years of healthcare experience (1 administrative consultant, 1 management role, 1 project manager). Any recommendations on consulting firms that are hiring? Expected salary I should ask for? Referrals would be helpful!
So far I’ve been through 1 IVF cycle. I have one embryo that is frozen waiting for transfer. My doctor is wanting me to do another round of IVF to back eggs for baby number two down the road. Has anyone been through this? I know of two people around my age that got pregnant naturally with their second baby after IVF. Does anyone know about banking embryos for future use instead of transferring? My insurance doesn’t cover anything so all this of out of pocket.

Has anyone tried out the TB12 sports clinic? Read his book and I feel like my body is the opposite of pliable. It’s expensive but wondering if it’s worth it.
Has anyone had a background check done by HireRight recently? Did they send you a notification when it was complete? I have an offer letter contingent on passing background and drug test so I haven’t put in my notice to my current employer but the contingent start date is May 17. I’m thinking I’m obviously going to have to push it back to give a proper two weeks to my current employer but I’m wondering if I will even get a notification when HireRight is done with my background check.
I go out for my run at 5:00 AM in morning, this has been my habit since this summer, and this schedule serves me well (I have started and stopped running multiple times because of schedule conflict) , now that weather is changing (got into 40s already in early mornings), and where I live soon it will be freezing temps.
Would love some suggestions from early morning runners, how do you manage these months of the year? Any specific outfits you recommend?
Anyone know corporate banking associate/ senior associate salaries in Dallas? Would greatly appreciate any insight.
Does anyone have experience with Sean’s Diamond and Jewelry? They on Canal St in Tribeca/SoHo. They had legit a whole bunch of OP, subs, and sky dwellers sitting on the display. I quickly walked out not knowing if it’s a scam! Please advise.

15+ years experience in Forensic Accounting. What would be considered fair pay in the NYC area? Average yearly Billings was 2,500, however recently took over the building out of systems, training younger staff, more marketing in a set region; basically more non billable work.
Hi ladies, what has worked for you in losing fat around thighs/calves? I know spot reduction doesn’t work, but I lose weight in chest and face too quickly while my thighs don’t seem to budge. I’m pear shaped—so alternatively looking for a way to look more balanced.

Hi! have anyone used the Julie Santiago program? if so, could you please provide fees, experience and details?
Raise chat! I am approaching 1 year with my company and am unsure of how to approach my CEO when asking for a raise. When I first came on, I was given a 5% raise after 3 months. I was promoted at 5 months but just in title, and a lot of responsibility. I believe I am long overdue for a salary increase and the overall cost of living is insane. I would like to ask for something closer to 15% but I’m not sure if that’s appropriate. Any advise?
Would anyone be interested in having their content creation automated?
I’ve been able to automate Pinterest graphic creation, create TikTok videos w/cover and royalty music on demand.
I can automate way more. I primarily help content creators make passive income through content automation, evergreen traffic, and paid digital products.
I’m looking for a job, contract/freelancing, really open to anything.
Beyond content automation, I can automate a lot of processes.
Did anyone accepted a counter offer from their current employer and stayed? What happened after? Were you happy with your choice?
Anyone try Mmlafleur? I like the style in their Instagram ads but am wondering if they are quality or if it’s just good photography.
New job original start date end of june. Pre screens completed timely but slow results. I followed up last week and also said start date move to july 11th because I need all clear to resign. Finally get all clear today and I want to push the new start date back another week but the recruiter says I should stick to the 11th. I really need the time to recharge but I am super excited about the new role. What would you do?
How have you told your reports to take care of themselves? I have one telling me about busy weeks where they skip meals, working out, and cut sleeping short.
They agreed to start giving me a heads up when they work OT, which will help me better balance their workload. At what point can I say, “Choosing to care for yourself is a personal responsibility?” We’ve had a handful of discussions about setting boundaries and speaking up about unrealistic timelines, but the message isn’t sticking.
Does anyone have a nutrition coach certification? If so, can I DM you with a few questions?
Design question for my work from home ladies - how did you decorate around a standing desk, large monitors, etc?
I find that with a large monitor there’s not so much I can put on the wall without having the monitor partially cover it - especially when the desk moves.
I don’t mind if the decor is covered when I’m using it standing, but want it to look nice when it’s lower down. Also find that with the monitor/laptop another square on the wall is too much of the same shape - any inspiration?
Can we please address the notorious Queen Bee Syndrome? The amount of times I have encountered a female manager/senior who distances herself from other women in the workplace in order to succeed is exhausting. They view or treat subordinates more critically especially if they are a female of colour. They refuse to help other women rise up the ranks as a form of self-preservation. Women of colour are exhausted and tired of constantly proving we belong. Any advice on how to deal with these people?
I just got promoted to project manager at a primary research firm 3 months after starting as an associate, hitting target at 150% on average (it usually takes 6-12 months to get promoted). This got the attention of an executive recruiter, who offered me a job at the bottom as an associate, but at a 25% higher base than my current salary. The only thing is that you can’t really transfer recruiting skills to another industry, and I’m only on month 4 at my current company. What should I do?
Last day at firm tomorrow & project manager hasn’t told client I’m leaving the firm. The client loves me & calls me “the brains”. Manager has always been rude to me. Is he throwing me under the bus?
Found out my mom and step dad are separating after 20+ years due to my moms narcissistic personality. I heard this from my step dad and have not heard from my mom yet about it. I am planning to keep a relationship with both parents after the separation, so I’d like to stay as neutral as possible even though I understand where my step dad is coming from and don’t blame him for not wanting to stay any longer. Should I reach out to her or let her tell me when she’s ready?

My best friend since we were about 6 years old is getting married. She asked my twin sister to be her bridesmaid, but not me. She said it was hard choice (i understand, she has other close friends) and she wants to still be apart of her day as a “female usher”.
I’ve never really heard of a female usher. Is this something any of you have seen before? Gonna be honest - I’m feeling a little down that she didn’t ask me but i know it’s limited

Does anyone have any connections with decision makers at reputable modeling agencies for a young aspiring model?
As a minority and a woman working at the corporate level, I constantly feel the challenge to feel more apologetic whenever I “put my foot down” compared to my male counterparts. I know I shouldn’t have to, but I always feel like “putting my foot down” will make me appear like I’m not a team player. What I mean by putting my foot down, is being proactive, stern, and being equally assertive as my male counterparts in the same professional manner. Any advice or thoughts?
My close group of friends (10 of us) are 28-30 & have really successful careers! (We’re all first Gen working women too!)
I have a new friend who is in her mid 30’s & doesn’t really have a career. She’s in a relationship & mostly relies on her partner.
I feel bad because my close girlfriends & I are always doing things (spa days, dinners, brunches, travel) and she can’t afford to go.
I always want to be inclusive and think of others - what would you do?

I recently went through a restructure of department payscales and wish I had negotiated. Now a year later I have been taking on more and more responsibility (supervising others) but they won't make it official since they are stuck overhauling the whole organization's payscales. Basically everything is frozen in terms of performance based raises and promotions.
If you have reasons to warrant a bigger bump (e.g. upcoming change in responsibilities, experience etc) then ask for it while they are open to making changes!
Definitely optimize the opportunity to negotiate as your SPOC is increasing with that is more accountability which equates to risks. However, they may frame it as challenges, which we all embrace but inherently it is additional risks. This may not be direct cash, it could be equity. Flex your muscle but be prepared.
Reorgs often mean there’s money on the table. Go for it! Don’t ask, don’t get.
