I would wait another 10 weeks.

I’d wait until after the first trimester at least. You are doing your job - giving them 6 months notice is more than enough time for them to find viable replacements. Honestly, I’d wait even longer if I were you. I’m planning on telling my leadership around 20 weeks.

It’s 100% your call. No One / no project needs a 7 month runway to plan a transition. Wait for as long as you want / need to, and when your ready come with a perspective on how to set the team up for success. You don’t owe anyone your health information
I would wait until 20 weeks
Tell them at 20 weeks
It depends on how well you see other pregnant employees being treated. I can say that in my department I consistently saw people get promoted while pregnant or right after coming back from maternity leave, I was one of them. In my situation I would make my team aware....that being said my sister who is also in consulting was explicitly told by her employer she didn't get promoted the previous year because she was pregnant (illegal, they don't care). If you are in a group where no one else has kids...I would be more cautious about telling people this early. My manager used to remind me its not anyone's business until you are well close to the end of the pregnancy.
Agree! Also what does staffing you to another project look like? I'm all about transparency and plan to tell my leadership about my pregnancy at the 12 week mark, but I'm not tied to a go live. Is there a full pipeline if they transition you off of this project to another with different timelines, or will this bench you for a while?
Depends on your level and close-ness with the PPMDs.
Personally, I’m a SM, similar boat last year. I told some at 9 weeks and others at 12 and others at 16 depending on their need to know basis.
Surprisingly. A lot of things in this firm travel fast via word of mouth. My pregnancy didn’t, people let me tell others on my own accord and timing. Only people that needed to know knew until I told them.
I am/was in the same boat (currently 29weeks). I told my SM/director (both Male) around 7 weeks because I was incredibly sick. They've been great, and we told the rest of my team pretty quick too since I couldn't lead meetings straight through any more. It took us longer to find a replacement than I expected, so it was helpful to have extra planning time.
However, I work in an extremely supportive environment, so that was a big part in me feeling comfortable to sharing that soon.
