OP, feel very happy for you. It's going to be a massive lifestyle change for you and your SO, moments of despair, frustration, but every single one of them will be worth it when your baby smiles at you for the first time. Savor every moment - congratulations!

The thing is my main goal at the moment is to maintain work life balance through the rest of my pregnancy and I am struggling to come up with anything more to say. Any words of wisdom?

I am an obese female and already on track to lose weight. I want to start planning for a baby soon but want to do it after losing weight in about 6 months so that I have a healthy pregnancy. But also concerned that I am getting older, 32 already. Should I just go ahead and start planning or wait for about 6 months until I have lost a good amount of weight? What’s more important age or weight?

I’m only 4 weeks pregnant, yet I’ve realized I haven’t been able to sleep for over a week. (3-5 hours/night when I typically get 7-8).

Any tips for early pregnancy sleep issues?

Last week I turned 50. How did I celebrate?

1) First, I went to an adult party where I played with this ripped and very energetic 28 year old where I was told I had an amazing, sexy body

2) Threw a party where I danced to music from earlier in my youth until 3AM. Ended up with a headache from the alcohol, sore shins and swollen feet from all the dancing. Totally worth it.

3) Then to top it off the next morning my mother came to visit and handed me a check for $10,000. I kid you not.

Lately, I just don’t feel like I have a partner in my husband.
We have a 3 mo old and a 2.5 yo. I’m out on maternity leave, so I’ve been doing all night feedings (EBF) and in the mornings get the baby ready, toddler ready and both out the door to drop toddler off to preschool.

On the weekends, I am upset that he can’t get toddler ready and breakfast so I can just sleep a little more while infant goes back to sleep. Husband is still sleeping.
